Blake H. Fiery joined the law firm in November 2009.  Born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, Ms. Fiery attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia for her undergraduate degree. Throughout her undergraduate studies,  she worked as a tutor in writing and technical editing. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English.  After graduating from Virginia Tech, Ms. Fiery moved to Miami where she attended the University of Miami School of Law.

In law school, Ms. Fiery was a member of the Moot Court Board and an associate editor on the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review. During law school, she gained legal experience working at a local civil litigation firm where she was exposed to a variety of civil litigation issues including medical malpractice and personal injury matters. She also gained trial experience working as an intern at the Miami Dade County Public Defender, where she assisted in defending felony criminal cases.
