Jaime Campos is a native of Miami, Florida where he attended Miami
Palmetto Senior High School. In 2000, Jaime received his Bachelor
of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Michigan
in Ann Arbor. Thereafter, he returned to his hometown to attend the
University of Miami School of Law where he obtained his Juris
Doctorate in 2003. Jaime was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003.
While in law school, Jaime clerked for a law firm and received
valuable business experience during his summers away from law school
where he managed a family farm in the Andes mountains of Peru which
specialized in the cultivation of peaches and breeding of alpacas.
In his final year of law school, Jaime formed a sports agency with a
longtime friend and represented a variety of athletes in the N.F.L.,
N.B.A., N.F.L. Europe, C.F.L., and Arena Football League. Jaime was
a certified agent/contract advisor with the National Football
League.
Upon his graduation from law school, Jaime continued his work as a
sports agent and also began practicing law on his own where he
gained experience in a wide range of litigation matters. Prior to
joining Wolpe Leibowitz Alvarez & Fernandez, L.L.P. Jaime worked for
a reputable insurance defense firm for several years where he
handled a wide range of general liability cases including auto
negligence, premise liability, and wrongful death cases. In 2008,
Jaime was recognized by the Daily Business Review for having a “top
verdict” in a case which he defended through trial where a jury
returned a pure defense verdict.
In 2009, he joined Wolpe Leibowitz Alvarez & Fernandez, L.L.P. where
he continues to practice in the area of general liability, including
construction defect, auto liability, medical malpractice, and
products liability.
